She means well...

But it wasn't "beating the odds." It was NEVER going to happen there.

Italy and NYC 'beat the odds." There were statistical, cultural, environmental, and public health REASONS they went to hell. Same for Wuhan, initially.

Almost everyone else, will not, and would have never, gone the same way.

When people wake up and realize -

  • There was basically jack shit we could do against this

  • It's nowhere near as bad as team apocalypse was fear-mongering

Then we can all move on.
