I'm fine with a vaccine, unless it's mandatory.

Look, the flu vaccine has existed for a while. People get them. My wife gets them, for whatever reason. I've always made the decision that I'd rather catch something and fight it off than go in and take a shot that may or may not work. I'll take my chances with Flu, and I'll take my chances with Coronavirus. A few years ago, I caught the flu in an airport. I was pretty miserable for a week, and stuck myself at home for two. My wife tells me now I need my flu shot, and I'm still not interested. I'd rather have the flu. I just don't find it necessary to go pay to have a shot that may not even work (or may even give me the flu, from what I've heard and read) when I'm healthy and the flu just jacks me up for a couple weeks. It's a medical decision - I'm deciding not to fund pharma companies for "what-ifs". I don't care about what ifs. I'm a busy guy. I don't care.

The problem is, they've convinced people hardcore that making this choice makes you akin to a monster. Because you may carry it and unknowingly infect others. Which is hilarious, because people carry the flu and KNOW it and infect others all the time, and no one ever said shit.

Mandatory vaccine means war. It's just a line of freedom I'm not willing to cross. I'm not anti-vax, I'm just pro-choice when it comes to what medical procedures I partake in. It's that simple.

The sad reality is they probably won't even have to mandate a vaccine - if one arrives, people will line up in droves to show how heroic they are for getting one, and they'll shame those who openly do not. They'll demand laws to "out" those who didn't get it, and they'll demand it be mandated. The people will do the work of the elites, for invisible brownie points.
