Given that people are apparently really touchy over criticisms relating to any potential vaccination for SARS-CoV-2, it's kind of amusing to me. So, have an upvote.
(I'm absolutely supportive of a vaccine, but the plurality of evidence strongly indicates one for SARS-family viruses will never materialize and it's an open question whether it'll be safe.)
I don't want the government to do anything. I am finding antivaxxers (people right in this post) and I am arguing with them to convince them to vaccinate their kids.
There aren't that many anti-vaxxers. Most people here don't really care, they are against mandatory/forced medical procedures.
It's precisely this talk about force vaccinating that makes people dig into the negatives of vaccines. If people would just cool it with the tyranny, we could all get along.
