I guess I don't understand the play here. She and her state stopped all workers and got to choose who and what was essential to continue working (not a right the government has). Now comes to today and she's giving people in grocery stores, etc who she deemed "essential" workers free college? Thats kinda fucked up on many levels. Nice for the people that she deemed essential, but fucks everyone else to have this odd shadow that she's "left" by "look i did free college too" stance. But she isnt going to help essential workers who already have a degree with debts etc and then fucks everyone else who believes their small business is essential.....

A few things going to happen: 1) program gets cut in like 1-2years b.c it wont be able to be funded or your taxes will rise to keep it going; 2) No1 uses it and its pocketed or added to state budget; 3) people see the nice attempt but ultimately gets roasted for it.

My ultimate take is this chick is desperate to keep power and will sink Michigan for the 2nd fucking time in under 20yrs just to look "progressive" and to keep power. Please vote her out on your next election. I don't care even if its another Democrat or a woman, but this chick is crazy as fuck

I see some lawsuits coming from the ACLU on behalf of other workers that want free college.

I'd actually agree with this statement. This is def a forced discrimination of who's and what is essential and would be up ACLUs tree. All the progressives, liberal, lefties (all different political categories) that she is trying to cater too, don't just work in her deemed "essential" jobs, plenty work in my industry (IT) and other industries and are being left out. I think its a dumb look on her end and shows being desperate to keep people from getting more mad at her
