Peter Porcupine • 22 minutes ago • edited Folks who have been following the brouhaha over Harvard law professor Elizabeth Bartholet's plan to make homeschooling illegal and her upcoming (private) conference may like to know that a student group at Harvard's Kennedy School has set up a counter-conference, free and online, this Friday (May 1st), 2–4pm Eastern. The event is called "The Disinformation Campaign Against Homeschooling." Anyone may attend, and instructions for logging in are here: https://www.hks.harvard.edu...
I encourage people to attend this event – numbers will show support (and opposition to Bartholet's anti-homeschool agenda). Speakers will include: Cevin Soling, Corey DeAngelis, Kerry McDonald, Patrick Farenga, Mike Donnelly, Brian Conner, and Peter Gray.

Hey, wait a minute... This is like in the 90's when they said fundementalists were subverting education textbooks so they could run good christians off from the PTA's and school boards... I say they can take a walk, but make certain you homeschool science, the second most important philosophical legacy from Christianity.
