Sue colleges for not providing the services students signed up for and being forced to pay for student activity fees and transportation (shuttles) that aren’t provided when the campus is only doing online learning.
K-12 students should sue for not providing adequate education right now. The schools are not teaching as they should right now. Extended distance learning is not cutting it for many students. No science labs. Art classes online are a bust. Math classes are challenging to many students when they can’t be in the classroom. In English class they are missing the learning from in class discussions, you get the idea,
Small businesses should be filing lawsuits, as their Constitutional right to run their legal business is now illegal. Some businesses are allowed to be open, yet some aren’t. This is not equal protection under the law. These will be easy lawsuits to win.
Everyone under quarantine not allowed to leave their homes should sue for being treated like criminals under house arrest when they have committed no crimes.
People needing surgery and medical care, preventive procedures and check ups should sue for not being allowed to receive proper care.
All these suits need to have severe punitive damages so that Governors and the government NEVER overstep their bounds again.
Newsom in California closing beaches? Those beaches belong to the taxpayers. Those state parks belong to the taxpayers. If he is extending a shutdown another month he better have the raw data to back up his decision, account for it, and justification. Looking at the numbers in CA, he clearly does not have the data that supports these draconian measures. He better be careful. Those lawsuits will come fast and they are easily won by the plaintiffs
And then when it comes back in the fall they'll scream for lock downs again, just in time for the election.
