Why would Joe Scarborough hire a hitman to kill his pregnant girlfriend in his own office? This seems more like a spur of the moment crime of passion. He probably demanded she get an abortion, she probably told him no, things escalated, she threatened to go to the press or his wife, he felt trapped, and grabbed a paperweight or something off his desk and bashed her skull in with it. It’s also possible they struggled and he flung her into his desk head first.
