Yeah... I know there are those on here that hate Costco. I like Costco. I don't care about anybody's politics when I shop or eat, unless they're shoving it down my throat. That said, Costco has good stuff.
Anyway, they go to "must wear a mask" on Monday. How does that work? Are they going to physically stop me? If I show my card and keep walking what will they do? The ONLY thing I can think of is that they will revoke my membership.
I already started doing that yesterday. I either go no mask or full burka, depending on how I feel.
I use a shemagh scarf that's sheer enough to see through but looks solid from the outside. People get really uncomfortable because they can't see your eyes. It's great.
I know my state has “mask required for everyone that is medically able to wear one”
Ok so store employee sees you with no mask, well unless they are willing to question your medical state they won’t say anything
But If some weirdo Karen is freaking out about you then they will either give you a gentle reminder or offer you a mask at which point if you decline then what? Depends if Karen is really scared or just wanted to tattle.
I was in a small store with no mask on, everyone was wearing masks, a police officer was there shopping too. No one even batted an eye.
I'm not sure, I am not an attorney, but I would think the grocery store is private property and has the right to deny my entry??? So if I don't leave I guess its trespassing or something. Cops were very friendly and knew it was all BS, even mocked the directional arrows. Cops should just not be answering calls such as these.
I like Costco too. I’m going to take a bandanna or something and only wear it if they make a stink about it. They are a private business and they have the right to deny entrance. Might not renew my membership though!
Funny how one business can get in trouble for refusing to bake a cake, but suddenly every 'private business' has the right to shit on the constitution.
We need to add 'Not wearing a mask' to the list of reasons you can't discriminate. /s not /s
For religious reasons, my beard must remain unobstructed. Suckit.
I just heard that the Costcos in my area will be requiring all people entering to wear masks starting Monday. I may have to go Saturday or Sunday to get a few things before that madness starts.
Thats the quandary for me, i believe a private business has the right to refuse service for a number of reasons. Like the gay cake thing. I did wear a mask in in two small local businesses because they admitted it was bullshit, asked me nicely, and they could be shut down if the dont follow rules. But i made sure they knew they were cucks first.
While it is true a private business has the right to set the tone as to how it will conduct business, they do not have the right to take your rights away.
Our God-given, inalienable rights don't have a clause saying, "..we have...the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness - except when dealing with businesses or employed by corporations in the private sector." That clause just isn't there.
If a business wants to set a condition by which your rights are discriminated against, they have the liberty to do that. They also have the accountability for that - and suffer the consequences for doing so.
We are also free to take our business elsewhere, and to use our free speech to persuade others to reject doing business with such businesses and corporations.
Like the bakery in question. Yes, that baker is free to reject service to those he doesn't want to do business with. Those who he doesn't serve are free to take their business elsewhere, and reject his business.
Walmart and Target are the same. Every large city is controlled by liberal mayors who went insane with restrictions. Laredo, Texas was the first to mandate masks in public and driving with a mask on while driving if there are more than 2 adults in the car.
Laredo has 363 cases with 16 deaths. Laredo has a population close to 300k. 🤡🌍
I'm thinking about finding one of those grim reaper halloween masks where it's a deep hood with a completely black face made of that tight screen material. When some idiot is waiting 6 feet behind me to look at the beer selection instead of just standing next to me, I'll just turn and stare.

I’m planning on buying a burka off amazon and wearing that as my mask.
I already started doing that yesterday. I either go no mask or full burka, depending on how I feel.

Thank you so much for the idea, I love this.
That would work right into their plans.
please take pictures. with this thing trying to scare everyone, i think that might add to the hilarity of it
We should demand all Liberals wear a full burka, for safety reasons.

They call the cops literally. Happened to me in PA. See my story in this thread.
What possible fucking crime could they arresr you for?

I had a lowes karen get on my shit two weeks ago. She said i needed to wear a mask, i said you dont get a vote on that. Told her to throw me out.
Mandatory masks are foreplay for mandatory vaccines.
this is my fundamental question for this whole fiasco: what principle are we using.
Take JUST THE COSTCO... what level is required... mask... one way aisles... 6 foot separation... etc.
Is going the wrong way as bad as not wearing a mask? do they throw me out for that?
we're making up freaking rules on the fly.
Its all bullshit so the globalists can get a baseline for how much we will tolerate.
We shouldn’t be tolerating anything close to this.

Costco requiring masks starting tomorrow (?) I think.
Monday, the 4th.
Thanks
I thought I heard it starts on Monday, at least in my area.
Edit: Looks like it's Monday for all of them. https://www.forbes.com/sites/rachelsandler/2020/04/29/costco-will-require-all-shoppers-to-wear-face-masks-starting-monday/#4769d0016538
They'll refund your full year if you want too.
but if you keep walking in, what will they do?
Probably ask you to leave or deny you entrance. Guess we’ll see on Monday!
They will likely deny you entrance into the store, or give you a cheap, mask to wear in the store.
Let us know what they do.

From Cosco's webpage:
Just claim medical.
HEB in Texas is denying people.
seems like a time to stop shopping at HEB...
Go say that on r/texas
It's full of Quarantine Karens, and HEB is like a damn religion to the 1/2 of Texas south of D/FW.
Not so much in D/FW - there's like 1 HEB in way south Ft. Worth and that's it.

What if we put a mask on where the entire middle part of it has been cut out?

instead of translucent, it's just nothing.
I own a couple of gas masks and am considering buying scrubs and wearing both next time I go to costco. People would see it as a joke, right???
Buy full MOPP gear and bring your AR.
My husband keeps seeing a guy in a plague doctor mask at Smith's.
