Also in PA and the day before the mandatory mask thing started, I was almost the only person out not wearing one. The looks I got in Target and Home Depot from people were hilarious. Nobody said anything though. Got a head-nod and a smirk from the only other guy not wearing a mask in Home Depot.
Where I work, they've required us all to start wearing masks. Everyone on my shift just has their mask hanging around their neck all shift long. Most people's masks are also just bandannas.

Illinois' enhanced stay-at-home order kicks in tomorrow, requiring masks in public. I'm glad I'm close to the Missouri border, I'll be driving across the river for groceries until this stupid shit is over with.

Governor Pritzker was asked yesterday about the possibility of opening up the downstate counties that aren't getting hit as hard as Chicago and he literally laughed and said "I don't even know how to respond to that."

I asked my employer if they could just not withhold any taxes and they said "absolutely not". I figured out that if I got to do my own withholding and pay when the tax bill comes, I could make $100/yr letting that money sit in my savings account. Pisses me off that the government forces us to let them steal the money from us before we even see it. It's disgusting and I hate them for it. I hate them for so many reasons, actually.
