I went into one a few days ago. When people glared like that I started making sheep sounds and laughing.

I'll say it until I die- Ralph Nader is what screwed us up as a country. Rather than letting nature take its due course, he championed for the weak and stupid to be protected from themselves. This mentality is why we are where we are now.

When you remove the consequences for being stupid, you get a lot more stupid.

He didnt do this, but he gets credit for inventing seatbelts for some reason. Like how Al Gore gets credit for inventing the internet, but he also didn't invent it.

The left sure seems to get a lot of credit for things they never did.

He lobbied for them to be safer, and I believe he might have pushed for them to be required to wear. I could be wrong. Even if I am, I'll still blame him till I die! :-)

He's been a consumer advocate for a long time. I'm sure I'll get some flack for it, but we all put our seatbelts on because of him, not because we choose to. I think he was also behind removing lead from paint so stupid unattended kids couldn't enjoy tasty paint chips any longer. I believe he's done a lot of other things similar, but they've slipped my mind and I don't really allocate much space to him any longer, than the knowledge that he was the catalyst for allowing the stupid and weak to survive well beyond their originally slated expiry date, giving way to newer generations of weaker and dumber offspring. I know it's kind of out there, but that's just...like, how I feel, man.
