On the one hand, sure. On the other, a car I don't need to change the oil in, put gas in, and only needs a battery replacement every ~10 years is a car I'd want regardless of how dumb green energy is. The reason for it's invention is stupid, but the car itself is quite nice and worthy of buying in its own right.

What is the electrical bill for charging? Genuinely curious. Plus, how realistic is long road trips? And with Cali turning off it’s grid for wildfires, that seems to throw a wrench into things...
