Someone said the other day which is a good thought.
It was that we are going through the second peak atm. A smaller peak has already happened in December maybe earlier. This virus has already been through the population once.
There may be multiple people to have said this because I’m one of them.
Making a point about what we can expect with regards to a bump in cases when we return to society, it’s my belief that we won’t see a large number because it will be the third wave of infections. The first wave went largely undetected and we didn’t count cases until we started testing later on. We are in the second, biggest wave which is why mitigation has worked well.
Returning to our normal lives will put us up against the third wave which will be more easily handled due to all the preparations we’ve made over the last 3 months.
