This just got posted to Youtube. Dr Ioannidis is a Professor of Medicine, of Health Research and Policy and of Biomedical Data Science, at Stanford University School of Medicine and a Professor, by courtesy, of Statistics at Stanford University School of Humanities and Sciences. They can assail Dr. Erickson's credentials on epidemiology but not this fucking guy.
Stanford did the Santa Clara study that tested for antibodies as an indicator of how much of the population actually had Covid 19 including those who were asymptomatic.
The key point is that the study implies that 50-85 times more people had Covid 19 in Santa Clara than the official number of cases recorded, that by extension this means that lethality is the inverse at 1/50 to 1/85 as much as current numbers imply which puts this on par with the seasonal influenza.
Share this with your friends on social media but the complaint will be that tests were biased because it was done on people who responded to Facebook ads so that means they use FB and have a car to come in and test.
The guy is a really smart dude so I'm sure he accounts for that. Even if he does not, how much of a haircut would that imply on his figures? Even if you cut it in half and say 25 times more people have Covid, that still dramatically lowers the lethality.
There is a longer version for those interested you just need to dig for it in the Youtube channel.
