I live in NJ. I can't tell you how many low-key Trump supporters I run into. Some are former Dems. Not sure there's enough to turn the state Red, but it's interesting.
You'd be surprised on how there are low key Trump supporters and actual libertarians in the Princeton area. I thought i was an outlier but nope, we are here. We just keep it quiet.
Cedar Grove....well basically the northwest corner of Essex away from Newark and the Oranges (and parts of Montclair) seen quite a few Trump flags and banners here. Originally from western Morris County so used to a red area, but nice to see it where I live now. After I got married a year and a half ago, wife and I got an apartment here so we could both have shorter commutes for work. It's affordable for now at least and when I can go into the office and this work from home crap is done, it's about 10 miles to work no crowded highways. Used to be about an hour on a good day on i-80, 280 when I lived back home
My personal impression is he's ok. He's not the worst we've had. Corzine was far worse. But he's patronizing with his "Above my pay grade". The doofus actually told Tucker Carlson that we'll open up when there are no more cases. I guess he's trying to do the right thing, but he's kind of a goof.
