I watched a Karen try to argue with a retired auto body/collision repair guy who pointed out that home made masks are useless against a microscopic virus, naturally Karen posted some illustration where somehow a t-shirt mask would let the virus out of you mouth but not into another persons.
He went on to say how they used different types of masks or respirators based on the task and the hazard, didn't reuse single use items, make sure they properly fit, etc. Of course this was of no use and Karen still believes a loose piece of fabric she never washes on her face will keep her safe.
