I was listening to the radio on the way to work one day, and they were talking about the people protesting the lockdowns. One lady calls in, and starts pulling the typical bullshit. “My sister works at a nursing home, and people are dying WHAAAAAAAAA WHHAAAAAAAA!” Then in the same breath she says the people that are protesting should take a deep breath! Uuummm, are you fucking serious you dumb bitch?!?! You’re crying about people dying then go and wish death on people just because they want to protest these bullshit lockdowns?!?! Typical fucking leftist liberal democrat, whatever the fuck they are. Definitely not human, that’s for sure!! I’ve been thinking about that for a long time now. Just replaying it in my head! Good to get it out lol. Fuck people are so fucking stupid.

When I argue with leftists on my local news, that is ALL that I hear from them.

"Go lick a hand rail."

I have never wished anything negative upon a single one of them, but if your a conservative get ready for the insults.

If that ever happens again, just agree with her and say yea I know, all those non-essential surgeries and treatments like chemotherapy are having a huge toll on those who are too scared to go get them done or offices not allowed to help them. I agree that many women are trapped in a house with a domestic abuser and they’re not allowed out. You’re right, it is really serious

She is right that nursing homes are seeing a lot of deaths. What she doesn't understand is this virus is pitiless to the old. No isolating can change that. It doesn't help that nursing homes are crowded places and have no room to isolate anybody. Today, being old at home is safer, but being old at all is to be in the path. But not all old people get it, and those who do, have a recovery rate.

So yes her sister is at ground zero.

But others going back to work does not affect that.

Nothing at all affects that, except perhaps distributing a whole lot of Z pack and Hydroxychloroquine. That might indeed help. Nothing else.

Testing is no holy grail! Unless someone is ill. Then a test would help you treat them.

And what does a negative test mean? Nothing. They could catch the virus an hour after the test. And what is a positive test? Often wrong.

And what are you going to DO with the results? Force them into isolation? Until when? And what about the cost of THAT in productivity, and social health.

Testing is nonsense. Unless illness is present. Therefore contact tracing is also nonsense.

Treating with effective meds is the only thing that is not nonsense.

Yes, old people or otherwise vulnerable people would do very well to avoid crowds, visit only on Skype, and work remotely. But even that may not completely protect them.

But if they get it, at least they should have quick access to the good meds!

You hardly need testing, because if you get this, you know. You feel like heck and lose your sense of smell and taste, and have a dry cough and fatigue? Get busy with the meds, many vitamins, a very hot shower, and record your temperature and oxygen saturation. A little finger clip will do that, an Oxymeter. It is on Amazon, cheap.

Don't panic. Most people get over it after a miserable few weeks.

No matter who goes back to work or who doesn't.

It wasn't stupid to isolate in the first month. Now more is known about protecting the vulnerable and we have the meds. We can go back to work.
