Ranchers are being ordered to euthanize harvest ready cattle, while at the same time, meat is being shipped in to the US. Milk is being poured out by the truck load. And then there’s this:
1-27-20, 34K chickens die in Virginia/N Carolina fires.
4-24-20, 280K chickens die in California fire.

2-27-20, 400K chickens die in Nebraska fire.

1-4-20, 300K chickens die in Michigan fire.
4-21-20, number of dead chickens still undetermined, but this egg farm housed a total of roughly 7 million chickens, and at one point there were 47 fire trucks from 30 different departments fighting the blaze.
Keep eyes on our food sources, patriots. See something; say something
That is absolutely something to consider. Maybe even the simplest explanation as far as Occam's Razor is concerned
Who is Occam and what does his razor have to do with it?? And what about Schroedinger and his cat?
It’s a method people use to make their argument seem correct. First they declare, without proof, that one explanation is the simplest, they cite ‘the simplest solution is most likely to be correct’, then say ‘see i am correct’. Shitty method, low energy.
Fault the idiots misusing it, not the principle itself. Humans, being part of nature, typically work in their own self interest and will follow the path of least resistance in that direction. Hence, the most simple solution that satisfies the logic of a situation is likely the be the correct one.
Is the absolutely butt-fuck insane always a possibility? Certainly. Is it the most probable? Not often.
Given the escalating tensions with China and the large Chinese-owned stake in these food production companies, I wouldn't be surprised if it was an act of foreign sabotage. But, I wouldn't rule out insurance fraud either given the economic situation. Either solution fits the principle as there is a simple explanation and motivation for both cases.
Simplest explanation isn't low energy, it's energy efficient!
that is a simple and yet correct explanation of Occam. I like it.
"Who is this...'Four Chan'?"
Occams razor shaved Schrodinger's cat. It also didn't shave the cat, depending on what requires fewer assumptions.
I have to say time and again Occam's Razor does not apply to human affairs, only natural phenomenon.
Humans can veer towards complexity in interaction and motivation, thus negating the utility of Occam's Razor.
