We really, really need legislation requiring country of origin/manufacture be CLEARLY identified on any product sold online, and on company's websites. I just bought a towel rack off Amazon and even though the company (Decko) is American I couldn't find anything on their website as to where their products are made. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN, and I suspected. So it arrived and of course it's made in China. It's a great towel rack though, no doubt thanks to American specs, and I would be willing to pay substantially more if it was American made.

I understand that most electronics are made in China, i.e. TV's, audio equipment, but please do your best to buy American products! Lets get this economy going again by buying as many American made products as we can!

P.S. Stop watching Main Stream Media.

Or how about we start up a new company and only make those electronics. Start off with a TV, and watch it take off. If people get wind that they can get a TV made in the USA they will be flying off the shelves. Even if it had less features people would buy it. Americans are ready and willing. Do we have non American tech at home? Of course but only for now. It has to start somewhere though. The risk is low because the demand is high and the trend is predictably towards American made.

Im a machinist, I can make the things in the TV that are metal.

People we will need: -plastic molding for the outside and other molded parts -electrical engineer to design the electronics internally -anyone who has manufactured a screen would be helpful. Regardless of context, we would need those expertise to provide at least a starting point, we can R&D our way to a good screen no problem -and of course, assembly

People like me would pay double the price for a identical TV to what's already on the market if it had a made in USA logo on it and a slave labor free logo on it.

This market is literally waiting to burst into popularity. All it takes is just a few people to go all in

I found an army surplus store open the other day. Spent a few Trump bucks on some Berry compliant shoes and shirts.
