I put a 20 rd fixed magazine on mine. It's tricky to top off with a 10 rd stripper clip, gotta hold bolt open while pulling up the bolt catch. Just takes some practice.
SKS has a peg welded into it to stop it to 5 rounds. Had to take 10rd strippers cut them to 6 rounds length and made 5 round strippers. There are aftermarket magazines you can get like ATI products, but again, pinned to 5 rounds with a rivet

So one of the banned guns I planned to buy, the Baretta CX4 storm. The magazine for that since it's a rifle/carbine is pinned to 5 rounds, BUT because the Baretta handguns are interchangeable, you can stick a handgun mag into the carbine and get around the 5 round limit.
This is also true for a .50 Beowolf cartridge in the STANAG magazine. It's a .50 cal bullet/round, but because it also happens to hold 15-16 rounds of 5.56, if you buy those magazines for your 5.56 AR-15, then that is still legal.
