Actually the Judge's that say these orders are not unconstitutional are the problem.

Not one judge has ruled yet that they are unconstitutional.

The Stanford Prison Experiment : research at your own peril. Most of the guards found it difficult to believe that they had behaved in the brutalizing ways that they had. Many said they hadn’t known this side of them existed or that they were capable of such things.

The prisoners, too, couldn’t believe that they had responded in the submissive, cowering, dependent way they had. Several claimed to be assertive types normally.

When asked about the guards, they described the usual three stereotypes that can be found in any prison: some guards were good, some were tough but fair, and some were cruel.

Well it’s not scientific so we can line up people on both sides.

Stanford Prison Experiment has been proven to not be reliable.

YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes. Since all social experiments are not scientific we can line up people on both side of this. However, the idea that people will do almost anything through social pressure And conditioning Will fill up Library after library after library

Yep, was going to say this.

Military, cops, state workers, should not follow unlawful orders. If the order violates the Constitution, guess what, it's unlawful.

DrBJTester 12 points ago +12 / -0

"We were only following orders" isn't an excuse it's a confession on morally bankrupt behavior.

Never be the first to call some one a Nazi on the internet, but those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

My great grandparents wouldn't have give one shit if the Soldier trying to get them into a train said the same thing.

Right, they would have just gotten into the train or been shot.

Not sure what point you are trying to make.

Well I knew it was wrong but this one guy had some authority and he told me to murder this little girl so technically he murdered the girl, not me, even though I did it with a machete

Uhh

In my opinion overall the police forces of America have already lost the trust of many lawful citizens all over the country.

The police have forgotten how much they rely on the public to fight even petty crime.

Me personally? I will never trust any police officer ever again in my life. I just see them as footsoldiers of the far left. Something the army will be fighting in this decade at some stage.

Yes, its that bad atm with the police.

If you would ask a wild bear for help, then go ahead and ask a cop for help.

I understand how you feel but it depends on where you live. Outside of the communist controlled cities many are sympathetic.

Fun fact: the penalty for treason is death.

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +2 / -0

Cops can get the death penalty for this bs

You're just following orders? Oh, well it's totally okay for you to do this to people then. NOT.

4
YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 4 points ago +5 / -1

It’s not ok.

It was a defense tried by Hitler's henchmen. How'd that work out for them?

The world used a moral compass then.

I hope good people realize this before it’s too late to save them selves.

Unconstitutional orders are no orders at all.

1
YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes

1
SirPokeSmottington 1 point ago +1 / -0

Unconstitutional orders are no orders at all.

Not one judge has ruled they are unconstitutional yet.

So....

2
SharkTeamTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

We hung Nazis for "just following orders".

Looks like we may have to do so again.

Arrest somebody

2
SimplePede 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly.

If the mayors public park lockdowns are deemed unconstitutional I'm suing the city over my criminal trespass citation for parking in a public parking lot and I'm demanding you lose your job officer. You enforced an unconstitutional law under the phrase "I'm just following orders' you're a fraud before the law Officer Yordt

1
YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

We should all sue the city for arrest.

1
SirPokeSmottington 1 point ago +1 / -0

Good luck. No judge is going to rule they are unconstitutional.
