But the thing is she isn't being silenced. She has her own web site and plenty of reach through conservative media. The only thing twitter did by banning her is give her even more credibility.

She absolutely is being silenced. Millions of twitizens won’t see a conservative black female because of this.

Just because she has other platforms does not mean she was not silenced on twitter and it must take away at least some of her reach.

And, twitter is fascist for doing this. If they can do this to her, imagine how many thousands or millions of us they are doing it to.

I'm not defending twitter I'm simply saying that at this point they are irrelevant. Candice has plenty of reach across multiple platforms. I mean if she is being silenced then why are we talking about it and sharing it? Twitter banning Candice only makes her stronger.

The alternate platforms aren't mainstream yet

We can change that.

This is a dangerous stance to take. Accepting 'just a little' political censorship starts you down a very slippery slope.

But who is accepting it? Right now its trending across the internet and are we not having a merry time discussing it? Her tweet is getting more exposure now than it ever would if twitter had simply left her alone? Think pedes, think!

Nobody yet. Right now, it is blowing up in Twitter's face.

The problem starts if/when Twitter is able to maintain the ban because people grow bored of the story.

Can't see it happening because the govs orders are illegal and Candice broke no laws pointing that out. I'm sure there is a team of patriot lawyers on the case right now behind the scenes.

While I agree the coverage might be helpful in the short term, the long game is TBD. How much outrage must be expressed before Twitter reverses a decision that was complete bull-shit in the first place? Will Twitter toss an arbitrary ban at a conservative user and only reverse the decision when it reaches "Candace-Level Backlash"?

November is right around the corner and Twitter has immense power to swing this election. This is not about a single Tweet about Michigan, IMO.

Separate but equal.

Twitter throwing conservatives to the back of the bus -- nay! Twitter throwing conservatives off the fucking bus - yay!

Fuck off with your insinuation. She is getting more exposure now than if twitter hadn't banned her and you can bet she will be making the rounds of every major conservative show and be featured in countless online rags. Fuck twitter they are irrelevant at this point.

I disagree strongly. In this election Twitter is more relevant than ever. The platform's ability to silence a young, conservative black woman - and others like her- can mean the difference between winning and losing 2020.

The population of Twitter is vastly, vastly non-American and leftist. A very tiny sliver of Americans even use it. Twitter's relevance is another fake news illusion.

Correction... banning GIVES credibility. Fuck twatter, they are ZERO authority on giving anything, except a place for free speech. If law enforcement / laws are not broken then they are in violation of the Constitution 1st amendment.

To us, banning gives credibility, but we are not the entirety of the electorate. Twitter has shut down an opinion that tells people to open businesses and go back to work. AOC, meanwhile, is telling people to go on strike. On Twitter, right now, only one voice is being heard.

I agree. Right now her name is trending across the internet in spite of twitter banning her and that tweet is getting way more exposure as a result.

We have a viable government and media. We just have to take it back from the moloch worshiping pedo's who infiltrated it.
