After all, most black people in America are doing the right thing and going on about their business. It's probably just the criminals and crazies that get shot by the police. But nonetheless, fellow blacks mourn their passing, sometimes with protests and vigils.

Anytime a white person shoots a black person, there always seems to be a chorus of voices suggesting that they could have and should have found another way.
