I ditched Sam's for Costco 15 years ago, but I'll go back if this mask shit doesn't stop.

This is what I'm seeing too. Some people on this site seem to want everybody to break out the guns and start the civil war. What's really happening is far better, people are just ignoring the government.

Think about the implication of that. Most people follow the rules, because most of the time the rules are sane: don't steal, don't lie, don't hurt each other. The out of control Democrat governors have turned ordinary citizens into rebels just by going about their day. These people who have trusted the news and government all their lives are seeing that the news and government are populated with insane liars. This is red-pilling on a massive scale happening right now.

“Some people on this site seem to want everybody to break out the guns and start a civil war.” The propaganda shills are here just like they are on reddit and twitter. Divide and conquer is always the goal.

YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 10 points ago +10 / -0

Yes the Democrap’s want a civil war. To really use the Government to come down on us. The Democraps are the party of Death, Destruction and Despair…… and they hate us!!! Yes… They hate us… They, the Leftist / Commies / Marxists / Democraps hate us. Yes… they want us enslaved and obedient, if not dead. Once we get that, everything that is happening now will make sense. And we will understand what we need to be ready to do.

CWII: We restore the constitution. No more income tax, no more federal reserve. No more senators chosen by popular vote. I haven't decided if we will allow the right to vote for anyone but male property owning citizens...

Personal Responsibility (the ability to respond to the vicissitudes of your life without needing We The People to pay for your misdeeds)
Self Governance (self control) Personal Liberty (my rights start where yours end)

Freedom MF ! 'Merica!

JeremiahKassin 4 points ago +5 / -1

I'm only okay with the property-owning part if we also open up the huge reserves of land held hostage by the federal government to development. The average man shouldn't have to work for 30 years as a slave to the banks just to be able to provide shelter for his family.

1
Paul_Revere 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't think that federal parklands are the reason houses are so fucking overpriced.

2
napoleonic_hill 2 points ago +3 / -1

WishdoctorsSong, I think your view of humans is what VDH (victor davis hanson) calls a 'therapeutic' understanding of humanity. I believe the reason humans do not do things we have agreed and written into our laws is deterrence. Meaning they fear the consequences of their actions. We do have intellectual reasons for doing good and not bad but if you ask people no one agrees precisely what is good or bad it seems subjective and everyone feels justified in doing whatever it is they are doing. Maybe that is why we need government at all, because people do not agree. It is the fear of consequences that is the objective reason that people do not do the thing society has agreed is not good. I believe that perspective is closer to truth. I believe that if we voted with this mindset we could elect better leaders like Trump.

A piece of cloth isn't going to protect people from germs and the flu. They're all brainwashed sheep. The best way to fight a virus is to strengthen your immune system.

victoryisusa 22 points ago +22 / -0

True. Last week at store, just one other person besides me without mask. Today, more without masks. Even employees had there masks below their noses so they could breathe. Just a matter of time that the minority wears them and look like fools.

14
YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 14 points ago +14 / -0

Yes … Last week I had no mask at Walmart people stared at me. This morning no mask. No one looked

11
chambleepede 11 points ago +11 / -0

Was funny when waitress at waffle house took off her mask to take our order... she said she couldn't talk with it on.

9
splink 9 points ago +9 / -0

Ha! Exactly. People at the grocery store "wearing" them symbolically under their chins everywhere.

22
ohiopede 22 points ago +22 / -0

Wife and I went to the grocery store yesterday. We went to walk in and an employee stopped us and said "There is a line today." It was very short. We turned around. He started to argue saying don't walk away because the line was short. But I knew some asshole would be giving the stink eye or taking pics because we were taking up the line space of TWO people because we like to pick out our food together, and I disagree with the whole line bullshit on principle. So we walked away.

I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. Under the ADA, I am not required to disclose my condition to you.

Can we actually use this?

15
Southern_Belle 15 points ago +15 / -0

That, fellow patriots, is how it's done.

The coffee shop has the right to demand masks, at least for now.

You have the right to shop somewhere else.

When the coffee shop loses customers to the competition shop that does not require masks, the owners will rethink their decision.

The only time it doesn't work, and we're dangerously close, is when commies prevent the free market from working as designed.

YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

The natural flow of wear a mask/ no mask will work itself out=like this

4
MyopicVitriol 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm a Home Depot customer. If I need fasteners, wire, or basic hardware things, I go there. The other day I went there to get some lumber and saw a line of people wearing masks with barely adult employees herding them like cattle out front. I just kept on driving to Lowes and walked right in and got what I needed. Even got a free half sheet of plywood as scrap but that's all I needed for my project and it saved me $20. Then a couple of hookers propositioned me on the way out of the parking lot. I didn't take them up on it but it was pretty funny anyway.

3
SwampDrainerLocal911 3 points ago +3 / -0

I went to a Houston Lowes today. A shit ton of idiots wearing masks. The funny thing is this just started to be a thing. 3 weeks ago no one was wearing masks, but then Herr Hidalgo issued her mask order and the lemmings started to comply despite Governor Abbot issuing an exec order striking it down.

12
GiantTheAndre 12 points ago +12 / -0

Havent had the pleasure of walking out of a place over that policy yet, but I am looking forward to it. I dont tend to hold grudges, but you better believe I will NEVER go back, and I will spread the word far and wide to encourage others to avoid them as well.

12
YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 12 points ago +12 / -0

That’s what we need to do. I went to Costco Friday …. 3/4/20 mask required … I’m not going in when they force me to wear a mask.

2
Aquamine-Amarine 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't wear a mask when I go out. A few weeks ago I wanted to go to Target but I saw the mask required sign as I drove past the entrance. I didn't even get out of the car.

The only time I wore a mask was when I was at my boss's house because she's paranoid and a hypocrite. Forcing everyone to wear a mask, but she and her family weren't. I had a hard time breathing and when I did manage to get some air, it fogged up my glasses. It was awful. I was also probably wearing the stupid thing wrong, because it was a worker's mask (kinda round and had some small gray bits near the top?) and not a normal sick person mask.

When I went to Publix last week I was talking to a man who was complaining about the mask he was wearing, he wasn't fond of it either. Had the same problems I had, he had trouble breathing and it would fog up his glasses.

1
YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

For us regular folks it actually dies not do anything. Except keep us from touching our mouth and nose. The mask only keeps sick people from infecting others.

11
K-Harbour 11 points ago +11 / -0

Common sense — who wants a humid Petri dish against their mouth?

6

I don’t. And I would never wear a mask some store clerk handed me. !!!

7

Me too love the store… I’m still getting gas their can’t beat the price. My understanding no mask for that. Anyway, in a few weeks Costco will drop mask requirement.

Here is what I do when I encounter the sheeple wearing masks with the fear death in their eyes....

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

shout your best sheep bleet at them.

Guy knocked over a full end cap of canned food. Funny as hell

Yeah, customers will change this. Not businesses. Government has too much power over them.

Dunkin Donuts? How the hell do they expect people to drink coffee and eat doughnuts while wearing a mask?

1

I went to a restaurant today that said we reserve the right to not serve people who are not wearing a mask. So I went next door and got a nice Italian sub sandwich.

Not a single business in my area is requiring customers to wears masks and most of them don't require employees to wear them either. The local Karens have been furiously calling managers about it, but so far they haven't bent the knee.

Stopped going to my regular supermarket (big retail company) all to do with how they handled their online storefront for home deliveries. They let the community and my country down. It's still fucked for thousands of people.

I had to do my mum's shopping who lives 80 miles away for a month. Thankfully a once a week thing. No one to do it for her given everyone else was trying to short out their own end. Thankfully a local charity is doing it for her now.

I will never ever shop there again. I went into another local supermarket I've never been in much. After a month of shopping in it. Better food and better prices. Even though it's smaller.

This is not a one-off thing. From talking with friends a lot of people are changing up long long habits about where they spend money.

2
Staatssicherheit 2 points ago +5 / -3

Don't spend your money at Dunkin' Donuts if you believe they have no basis for asking their customers to wear masks if they are to receive service. I think they do have basis so I will be spending my money there.

3
JeremiahKassin 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's your right. I don't think anyone here will argue with you.

2
Latinalover71 2 points ago +2 / -0

DownwithDunkin all conservatives boycott Dunkin Donuts until they clean up their socialist actions.

I checked the new Costco in my area some time ago and didnt like the short on selection and higher on prices business model. Thankful. Will not patronize any business that requires me to mask.

1

Me too. Not doing Costco till no mask required.
