"Scientists do not yet know how they made it to the United States."

Don't know how but I think I could guess BY WHO. Winnie-the-Ping loyalists.

FYI, these fuckers are not only scary as fuck, their favorite meal is taking over honey bee hives. With colony collapse in play, this doesn't bode very well for our food supply if these get rampant.

You mean before or after the "killer bees" do it first, or did we move on from that fauxpanic?

But do pass this story around. The MSM will gladly thank you when they pick it up as the next thing to whip-up the public with seeing they only need to mine right-leaning forums for material.

Well, fyi, most if not all our bees are considered to be "africanized." So they "kind of won" already. They were a concern, because they were more lazy than their European counterparts, reducing productivity and yield and generally making bees more aggressive, but whatever. There is no real fix to this, aside from incorporating Japanese honey bees, which do have a defense against this nasty bug. Unchecked, the go on like this.

And seriously wtf? This does need to be addressed? You're one off on this one.

I love the adaption some bees developed to combat these little monsters. The pile on and vibrate wings until friction heats up enough to kill the hornet. There's a lesson there somewhere.

Perhaps, but I do have a list of animals, plants, and disease that I actually do fear with good reason. This is on that list. You want a plant to be worried about? Look up giant hog weed. Before that, I was never "afraid" of a plant
