Beaches are technically not closed, but the parking are all closed.
I am this close to getting a cheap flight to Vegas just to sit down in a restaurant and have a big steak meal.
Oregon is worse. We are all fired up after the July 6th announcement. We won’t let this dampen our energy, we won’t let it diminish our resolve to re-elect our beloved President. Some days are harder than others. Thankful for this place to keep me focused on the good our President has done and will do his next four years!! MAGA (again!)
And muh mask tyranny is just getting worse. People driving in gloves and masks alone in their cars. Neighbors asking why I'm not wearing one to walk my dog by myself.
And you tell them because you have more than 2 brain cells to rub together. Then get in their face and tell them what happens to tyrants in this Country and ask them if they'd like a little demonstration.

Hopefully he's not worried you'll get sick by stepping outside? That level of paranoia is pretty evident by lots in these parts. 30' away from anybody a mask does nothing but get wet if we wear it, and then it's not only less effective but a germ factory. Now if we wear it for the few minutes we need to be in close contact at a checkout lane or something, maybe it has some value. But here people were more than 6' apart even before that became a mandatory thing.
I wanna know when we go back to FREEDOM! Maybe we should start telling people "don't MAKE me do my William Wallace impersonation?"

Apparently they want to get killed. I don't think there's any lawful way to "close" a beach.
The mayor wants to reopen it, but Sisolak is holding them down.
The latest news is staged reopen starts on May 15th.
