they have no fucking clue how they work or why they are ordered to wear them they just believe the panic because it translates into Trump's fault.. so wearing the mask is a duty, that they take what trump has done seriously and some go as far to claim they wear it out of respect for others.. it has nothing to do with actual stopping anything I see people wearing them driving alone in a car with windows up and sitting home alone.. walking in giant park 50 feet from everyone else...
The only true value of those paper thin masks is to stop nasty MF from sneezing, coughing on shit and breathing out far from your mouth in small spaces like elevators or subway.. the masks tend to keep your breathe close to your body..
they don't prevent anyone from breathing the virus in, those are N95 masks and only block 95% of the virus when fitted properly and used with a face shield and other PPE..
