Financially you don't actually have a choice. You won't qualify for unemployment by quitting.

At least not in normal times. Here in clown world, there might be a "I'm scared of the virus" clause

At 50+ I look back on my several jobs as a badge of honor. I also took a self-paid sabbatical for 2 years in 02-03. Always be employed or choose a sabbatical. I’ve got 3 kids now, so let me throw one more thing in there... I used to have enough money, now I’ll never have enough. Enjoy, work, cry, laugh, live! God Bless!

I am in canada and I see help wanted signs everywhere now. No one wants to do these shit jobs though. My company just hired 8 fulltime full benefits and I took a look at them they are all 25 and under.
