Let's face it, the left is smarter than that. They won't send you to concentration camps. They'll just make sure you can't get a job, can't buy groceries, and can't enroll your children in school. They'll make you beg for the vaccine.

Left to our own devices we can meet and plan and form co-ops and militias to survive, and even thrive, completely separate from them. We can barter goods and services because we have actual skills. We can educate our own children. They cannot let the tagged sheep see this, thus we would be squirreled away "for our safety and the safety of others".
Which is why they won't round you up. They don't need a conflict. They'll just wait for you holdouts to die. This doesn't have to be done overnight. They'll propagandize your kids in school that being chipped is the way to go.
Looking at what every other totalitarian government has done with their dissidents, I'm going to disagree. Why would the tyrants here be any different? You cannot allow the oppressed to see freedom in their countrymen, to ensure their continued obedience. If enough people choose to be free, revolution follows. Always has, always will. I suppose they could take China's route and just kill us all then and there, but too many of those being oppressed will take issue with that and turn on their oppressors when they realize what's going on. The Chinese never really had freedom so they just laid down and took it.
People are catching on, and it's not going to end well. Yesterday, both my father and uncle, two "normies," (albeit conservative) both texted me for information about firearms. They are both finally not just ready, but understand they need to be armed and protected. Again, they're both conservative, but always fell in the "I live in a nice neighborhood, guns are kinda scary, so I support the 2A but personally don't want or need a firearm." Not anymore. They're about to be armed to the teeth, and have both already spoken about how, if and when this kind of shit goes down and shit hits the fan, they're ready to basically buy acres and acres of land, have family members like my fiancee and me move onto it, and live as self-sufficiently as possible.
Given all of our backgrounds and expertise, I have no doubt we can be successful with this, too (ranging from farming and hunting skills, my uncle is a developer/contractor so infrastructure/building isn't an issue, engineers and doctors in the family, multiple of us have mechanic backgrounds, etc etc).
I think they can get the compliant sheep-izens to accept it quite quickly.
How many times have you left your wallet at home and can't buy something? With Apple Pay, now you don't need a wallet.
However, if you leave your phone at home or lose it, now you are totally screwed. Wouldn't it be great if your cell phone could just be implanted in your hand? Then every day you just wave your hand over a charger (that reports your location to the grid) and it recharges.
Millions and millions of people will be clamoring for this tech. They won't need to force most people. The rest they will let die out and indoctrinate the kids.

I think you are underestimating a person's ability to justify their bad behavior. Even (and especially) very intelligent people fall into this trap.
