I get that, but the reasons listed in the article for Adams and Washington being “bad” are twisted and taken completely out of context. Washington was ambitious? WTF? Adams was wrestling for power as the first VP in our country’s history? If you dive into the deeper context of the “actual” history Adams was pissed as fuck, because he didn’t realize being the VP neutered him from having influence on the newest and greatest country in the world. He was the FIRST VP and was like “FUCK, I don’t get to help build this new awesome country in this position.” That’s why he tried so hard to have influence. The country was BRAND new, lots going on.
