Are they still limiting access to the Keys?

magabirdlady 4 points ago +4 / -0

Not sure on that.

Yes they are and unfortunately not all of Florida is open. The 3 Demorat run counties of South Florida are refusing to open.

Thank goodness we have a President who used his power not to grab even more control over the states, but to allow the governors demonstrate by example which of them do not care about the people they govern. I expect there will be some changes in the next election.

One could argue that any shutdown was unconstitutional... and that you (and me in GA) have kinda nice tyrant instead of a complete dickhead tyrant like Michigan.

Agreed--all of this was unnecessary.

You can eat in a restaurant in Florida?

Nice.

At 25% capacity and not in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.

Key West beaches open, but island (and all of the keys) closed to visitors. Economy in Key West is stopped. It's all tourism related - and nobody is on the island. Mayor is concocting a 5 phase plan to open.... months from now. Devastating.

Step 1...Halt Business on Land Step 2...force businesses to go broke Step 3...force owners to sell land cheaply Step 4...have connected donors and cronies buy land Step5...profit

In the late 80's half of city hall in Key West was arrested by the Feds for running drugs. So your scenario could be in play. Who knows.

Are they open to sit and relax or is it only for exercise?

4
CousinEddie 4 points ago +4 / -0

Depends on county. Some are open for everything, others have stipulations. You need to read the county pages before you go

1
Aquamine-Amarine 1 point ago +1 / -0

I also heard that it depends on the county. I heard Palm Beach County still has some restrictions.

1
Abkmd011 1 point ago +1 / -0

All restrictions still in place for Palm Beach County

Ya, but holy shit the lemmings wearing masks here is pretty ridiculous. I was just on my lunch break here in Estero and just about everyone had the masks on. I even got a SMH from some lady and I told her how nice it is not to be told by my government on how to live my life.

1
roytheboy 1 point ago +2 / -1

Who cares if they were masks, as long as it's not mandatory. Masks only really help THEM from spreading things to other people so it's all good.

2
AllTheWayTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

We came close to having one though....on meth. What a disaster that would have been.

2
Daemoness 2 points ago +2 / -0

We open today, so of course it's all gray and rainy and cold here (MO).

Happy for you pedes! It's been beautiful here in Michigan the last few days. I'll do my usual and stay inside by the dim blue light of my computer screen.

That State just got a deeper shade of red. Hell yeah.

1
Lila_Quartermaine 1 point ago +1 / -0

Also be thankful you don't have a drug-addicted, gay-escort-hiring, race-baiting, open borders gun-grabber for a Governor.

No. Just a constitution ignoring one, a benevolent tyrant is still a tyrant, primary him out in 2022!

6
christianknight 6 points ago +6 / -0

If he signs constitutional carry and repeals red flag laws he can be forgiven.

bloodyminded 0 points ago +1 / -1

Yes and we know the exact date of when that will happen.

(Psst, it's "never.")
