His previous limits have been blocked by inside Republicans. Who are in league with big tech. Pres wanted to shovel H1B1's and instantly all the lobby groups came in saying oh boy that economy sure can't function without all those cheap workers from overseas!

One man can only do so much, but if he keeps going like this I'm plenty happy cause H1B1 essentially froze up and immigration and illegal entry is at a historic low.

I agree. As much as I hate to admit it, liberal TV shows like Game of Thrones and House of Cards made me realize just how much power elders, heads of households, and now the modern version, billionaires of CEOs, hold over a king.

He isn't Ghenhis Khan where he can enforce his will. One man can only do so much, and tbh, he's done way more than I thought possible.

Odd to me. Corporations benefitting from the H1B wage reduction scam are firmly in the TDS Liberal camp.

There are more American workers than just manufacturing. The tech workers need help.

They are in it for the long haul. They are hoping to rid themselves of Trump this year, but if not they'll just stall everything out until another globalist gets elected. We need another Trump in 2024, and well for the next hundred years or so.

2
TheCIASellsDrugs 2 points ago +2 / -0

Trump is not responsible for any of this. He has pushed hard for immigration restrictions from the very beginning. Shut the government down trying to get them to approve more funding for a wall. It's the cucks in Congress that refuse to get on the right side of this issue.

We especially love the $10,000 SALT deduction cap. Now Blue States can't keep raising taxes endlessly, causing rent & homebuying prices to skyrocket.

Besides, they were using that extra money to attract illegal voters, while recouping their expenses via the 2020 Census. Now people are fleeing Blue States, eroding their tax base.

NO MORE.

What 2A good news is there?

Bump stocks got banned (don’t own one, but still). There’s no carry reciprocity, the GCA is still “law”, and a NJ armored car driver is being charged with a felony for carrying his firearm - that he has a permit to own, a permit to carry, because - get this - his employer issued him hollow points.

10
Regeth 10 points ago +11 / -1

Out of everything Trump and the Republicans have done over the past three years, anything 2A issues is not one of them. I voted for Trump in 2016, and I'm voting for him again in 2020. We have been told that they are for 2A rights, that the HPA would pass, that we had a good chance for reciprocity. The case you mention with the driver, I believe is being dropped against him. However New Jersey's laws are horrible, not enough people in the state will stand up and really hold any protest or try to make any changes in their laws. I live across the river from New Jersey, and I fear for my state.

11
AlohaChris 11 points ago +11 / -0

That’s where I’m at. My support for Trump is unquestioned, but I want to see winning on the 2A!

Not getting more restrictions and dodging the Hillary bullet is continuation of the status quo, and that’s not winning.

No, they agreed the case was moot, which it was. It was the right decision, even if not a satisfying one for 2A supporters. Gorsuch dissented, and Kavanaugh said he wants more 2A cases taken up by the court.

Same reason why flexing the "conservative" judge count is low on the accomplishment list imo. The GOP has done next to nothing for MAGA outside of tax cuts. If corruption isn't excised, how easy will it be for the swamp to crush any judge that doesn't do what they ask? It's so much harder to get legislation passed than to blackmail or corrupt a judge.

5
Cantshadowbanthemall 5 points ago +5 / -0

I feel like the only 2a thing he can call is hey, side-o-beef would have been a nightmare

5
TheCIASellsDrugs 5 points ago +5 / -0

There's a lot of cucks in Congress and a lot of bad judges. Roberts (Republican appointee) just cucked on the Supreme Court case about New York's bad gun laws. We've got to think about how we can make progress on these issues.

How can we pressure cucky Republicans to support the 2nd Amendment?

How can we get rid of cucky Republicans who won't support the 2nd Amendment?

How can we pressure states to get rid of red flag laws, allow concealed carry, etc.?

How can we pressure judges to support the 2nd Amendment?

3
AlohaChris 3 points ago +3 / -0

You’re right, Roberts should never have voted to let NY off the hook for their malfeasance.

4
NotRealDemSocialism 4 points ago +4 / -0

The ONLY thing positive on the 2A front that Trump can take credit for are the judge's he's had Mitch quietly slam through en masse for 'lower' courts.

I live in California. The ninth is turning, and for the first time in a long time there's real hope.

Bump stocks, red flag support... Trump's not great, it's really not a selling point he should push, but for my situation, none of that compares to the MASSIVE result of the judge's he's gotten through.

1
AlohaChris 1 point ago +1 / -0

Maybe. We’re all seeing what kind of judge Roberts is turning out to be.

12
ChooseLiberty 12 points ago +14 / -2

His appointment of this many federal judges and the two SCOTUS judges is Yuuuge! If ole bag of bones RBG would kick the bucket sooner than later we can get that third judge on the high court. His second term the gloves are gonna be off because he will have nothing to lose! go for broke on fixing America for the future.

I agree with most, but what has been done to save the second amendment? I feel like it's been status quo

13
Modus_Pwninz 13 points ago +13 / -0

By "save" he probably means that HRC would've already banned "AsSaUlT RiFLeS" like her pervert rapist husband did. And when they eventually try to ban them, they're going to hit as many other guns as they want. They're going to eventually try to limit your 2A to single-fire muskets and convince you that is what the founders intended, while your average beat cop has a full-auto magrail rifle with depleted uranium rounds.

I hear AR-15 shots all the time at my new place outside of town. It's beautiful. Nobody gets hurt, they're just having some fun. Fuck anyone who thinks they can stop it.

3
TheCIASellsDrugs 3 points ago +3 / -0

Eventually they're going to do this and that bad thing

Eventually they're going to be arrested for treason. Don't allow them to control your mental space. They are wrong, we are right, and we will prevail.

8
Webasdias 8 points ago +13 / -5

He's even done an infringement himself (bump stocks).

Idk, I guess he's shit talked people like Northam on Twitter. Calling attention to shit like that is useful.

3
aangler100 3 points ago +7 / -4

bump stock is retarded, it's a technique, not a piece of hardware.

5
Webasdias 5 points ago +8 / -3

Sure but there's no actual point in restricting them. It just opens up possible precedent for future restrictions.

4
JudgeWhoAllowsStuff 4 points ago +4 / -0

Not precedent. It was preceded by the similar banning of many similar devices like the Akins Accelerator. Doesn’t make it good, but it’s not precedent setting.

3
Webasdias 3 points ago +4 / -1

The thing is that they're completely dependent on semi-automatic weapons in order to function and the wording used is suspiciously vague, things like "rate increasing device" that could be interpreted in a number of different ways.

A major concern is that they'll come after trigger weights since that could be interpreted as a way to increase the firing rate of a weapon, so we'll all have to have like 15-20 pound triggers on everything.

But again, this is all predicated on semi-automatic functions. That's what they want. We know that's what they want. This is just another step in that direction.

1
JudgeWhoAllowsStuff 1 point ago +4 / -3

You’re getting hysterical. Focus on the facts. The current administration’s ATF bureau banned bump stocks using the same authority and logic that previous administrations’ ATF bureaus used to ban other items that allowed you to simulate fully automatic fire. Could they do something else? Sure, but it’s pointless and retarded to blame Trump for what his ATF bureau has not done.

3
Webasdias 3 points ago +3 / -0

The current administration’s ATF bureau banned bump stocks using the same authority and logic that previous administrations’ ATF bureaus used to ban other items that allowed you to simulate fully automatic fire.

What other items?

2
Robert 2 points ago +2 / -0

Shall. Not. Be. Infringed.

Do you understand what the word "infringe" actually means? Even the SLIGHTEST encroachment upon the right to bear arms is unenforceable and illegal. Banning bump stocks is an encroachment, an infringement, upon your right to keep and bear arms of literally any type, there are no restrictions and any restrictions of any kind are illegal.

Anything that hampers your ability to carry your weapon, whatever the fuck it is, including making a gun retroactively illegal by banning a component, is an illegal infringement.

1
aangler100 1 point ago +2 / -1

Do you even realize how close we are to repealing NFA and bring back our rights?

3
Regeth 3 points ago +3 / -0

Unless you know something that I don't, but we are no where close to repealing the NFA. The HPA was a bust. If you can't take silencers off the books, then good luck getting rid of the whole thing.

2
aangler100 2 points ago +3 / -1

We have a President on our side, we have 200+ new judges to not support anti constitutional laws. The tide is turned. bumpstock is a red-herring.

I remember what it was like to just buy ammo under Obama. More democrats are going to fall in 2020. I bet we take the House. We have cleaned out a lot of RINOs too.

3
Regeth 3 points ago +3 / -0

But that doesn't translate into any 2A wins. I feel Trump is largely on our side but is weak on gun rights. the supreme court isn't going to touch any 2A suits any time soon. I really wish this wasn't the case. As far as buying ammo, it's now down to the state level that is trying to enforce restrictions. Still no word from the top down on trying to stop that.

1
Webasdias 1 point ago +2 / -1

5
monk_of_trump 5 points ago +7 / -2

Dude. Dont defend infringements because you dont use a certain thing or because someone on your side is the one that did it. Have some fucking backbone. And it clearly is a piece of hardware because that piece of hardware was made illegal and now if you have one, youre a felon.

1
Robert 1 point ago +1 / -0

And is at the very least an infringement for sure, the fact that something has to be banned and some still won't call it an infringement is ridiculous. These fuckers ignore the literal meaning of words.

Webasdias 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah it's silly. It's literally the only thing I can think of that he's done that I don't approve of, and I even yield that it's relatively minor. Even how I've gone on about it possibly leading to greater gun control is dependent on mass failure of the court systems.

0
aangler100 0 points ago +2 / -2

Obama banned ammo by trying to buy it all, I know I was there. 2 months after 2017 inauguration you could get all you wanted at 2006 prices.

1
monk_of_trump 1 point ago +1 / -0

That was after sandy hook when everyone went on a massive panic buy spree. I was there too.

0
aangler100 0 points ago +1 / -1

No, for 5 years, Bloomberg and others were paying people to buy .22 and 9x19mm (mostly). Obama was tying up manufacturers with exclusive government contracts. Prices of .22 went up 3x, 9mm about 50% but both were limited supply, like toilet paper is now (coincidence? idk).

0
monk_of_trump 0 points ago +1 / -1

The vast majority of that shortage was from panic buying. Its not a coincidence that it started right after sandy hook. It also ended quite a while before obama left office. Stores were still getting shipments, and people would be lined up in the morning to buy them out. People literally bought 22lr by the pallet. Americans buy 8-15 billion rounds per year. The order that everyone was freaking out about with for 1.6 bilion rounds and was over 5 years iirc (which was still an absurd amount for them to buy, but not enough to create a shortage). Even the president of hornady said it was purely a consumer driven shortage.

The Trump administration is quite amazing on its list of accomplishments. If you understand how bloated, disorganized, lazy, corrupt, depressed and pathetic the government is. I remember when Trump got into office a week later I got a presidential memo completely changing my programs. It was signed 2008 by Barack. It took 8 years to reach my desk. I promptly threw the memo in the shredder as he was no longer the president. It's extremely difficult to do anything in the government.
