My wife says that excluding some cases, almost all women are completely awful to each other, I don't understand the psychology of it but certainly have witnessed it myself. Maybe social competition, low self esteem?
Spoiler alert: They don't actually believe Tara's story, or most of the other high-profile accuser's stories either. They have the same sense for what's bullshit and what's not that most of the rest of us have, and fully understand the myriad reasons why plenty of women would lie about being sexually abused. They just can't allow themselves to PUBLICLY ADMIT that they disbelieve Tara because that would negatively impact their ability to wield #BelieveWomen as a cudgel the next time a political opponent gets accused. That's why you get these "I believe you, but I still support Joe" deflections.
Sorry, but no one who legitimately believes in the cause of feminism would continue to support a candidate that they actually believe physically groped a female assistant and forced his fingers into their vagina.
It's really quite remarkable watching all these Democrats openly admit that they don't actually give a shit about female abuse victims and were just using #MeToo as a political weapon. I'd be more impressed if I didn't know full well that the next time a Republican is accused they'll be right back to acting like sexual abuse is the most super cereal thing in the world and all victims should be believed, without a hint of irony or self-reflection.
The implication is worse!
Women are women's worst enemy.

Amazing.
Imagine actually voting for someone you truly believe to have committed a sexual assault over someone you want to believe committed a sexual assault.
The hamster wheel is about to fly off the hinges.

Some of you may be sexually assaulted, but that’s a risk I’m willing to take. - Lisa Bloom.
Lisa Bloom is Gloria Alred's daughter. (Sp)
These people are a complete joke, I don’t ever want to hear any sanctimonious grandstanding from them again!
TDS. Admission that you'd vote for a sexual predator over Trump is a sign of mental disease.
...and now it's open-rape season for half of congress
You fight trump? Lol okay, who are you again?
I believe the evidence and act accordingly like every rational person does.
