I got a little choked up the other day when "Don't Know What You Got Till It's Gone" came on the radio and was then followed, without interruption by "Home Sweet Home". I mean holy shit what a 1-2 punch.
Do you oppose the draft for both sexes or just that it's male only? What other anti male laws are you referring to?
Edited to add: what exactly does the draft have to do with Brian Stelter weeping on the job because he's the bawl baby that wrote the NYT article in question?
You wrote that conservative women don't cry at work, suggesting they are different from progressive women. What have they done to prove it?
Women will march pro/anti abortion by the millions. It's "their" issue. Where's the women's march to protect their sons and husbands from false accusers? The march for mandatory paternity testing? The march to end draft segregation?
Why did conservative women lead by Schlafley kill the Equal Rights Amendment?
As for the draft, I oppose inequality.
(White) Women could vote in 1920. No draft requirement.
Several wars later, women can vote at 18 instead of 21 despite never being drafted.
There are financial aid and employment restrictions for non-registered men.
What is the solution? Women register, no one registers, or women accept voting at a different age. Only one is a realistic outcome, and one leads into it.
Anti male law, the big three fundamentals minus the draft:
Paternity (What rights do men/boys have, including rape victims?)
Law and society accepts genital cutting only on boys.
Family law is extremely biased against men. (Remember James Younger and his "trans" son?)
Wow. You certainly unpacked a lot of baggage in response to my questions.
Question 1 about the draft you didn't technically answer. As a woman, I see no reason why young women should not register for the draft, although it's a fairly moot point since we have large, all volunteer armed forces. The wrinkle is that should the need arise, who is to take care of the children? That is a deep, concerning topic which I have no interest in debating here.
Question 2 about the anti-male laws, you do raise valid points. I don't believe that unmarried men who are victims of reproductive coercion (she lied about being on birth control, she poked a hole in the condom, etc.) should be forced to support a child. The issue here is proof that she made the claim, so you'd better get it in writing if you want it to stand up in court. I would hope that the man would be moral enough to step up and support his child anyway, but you can't force mortality. If a man wants to avoid establishing paternity altogether, he can abstain from sex or have a vasectomy. More birth control options for men would be wonderful and I support their development 100%. Rape is a crime and a raped man obviously should not be held responsible for any offspring as a result.
I rarely ever hear men complaining about circumcision, but I don't advocate for it. If men want it outlawed, show me a petition and I'll sign it. The genital mutilation women suffer usually involves a clitorectomy and sometimes the stitching shut of the labia. Clearly more severe than male circumcision.
I agree fully that family law is biased against men. There are too many liberal women judges involved, and they are notorious man haters. Removing them from the bench would be wonderful. I will support any measures to do so.
You spoke about men being falsely accused. This is abhorrent. Any woman making a false rape claim should be imprisoned. But you are directly comparing the issue of abortion with false accusations which is ridiculous. Abortion kills 10 million fetuses per year! This is an issue that demands attention to save the lives of the innocent.
The ERA is an entirely different matter that I have no intention of diving into here.
The fact is that conservative women are different than liberal women in many, many ways. Frankly, you don't seem to like women very much, which is your right, however unfortunate.
In closing, I'd like to remind you that you did not answer my question about what any of this has to do with an article written by Brian Stelter about his own weeping in the workplace. No point in answering that now. I've said all I need to say. If you can't tell the difference between liberal and conservative women at this point, it's because you choose not to.
I said women in the workplace cry, in part a joke against Stelter. You said conservative women are made of different stuff. I don't distinguish between liberal and conservative women. That's your answer. If that were true, then conservative women would have fought the feminists tooth and nail. They didn't. And with the ERA women fought to preserve every progressive AND conservative special law for women. The fact is women are failing men, and they're failing boys. They are failing their sons, grandsons, husbands, brothers, and so on. They should be embarrassed for the ignorance regarding these issues and ashamed for knowing about them and doing nothing.
That you decided to go with "well you don't like women" is pretty lame. Why bring it up at all if you didn't mean for it to count against me? I can recognize the lack of most outright hostility from conservative women, but is not being a sexist something special to be lauded? That's such a low bar. And why should they do more when the poison fruits of feminism's activism can be enjoyed by a woman of any political stripe?
Non-feminist women are the "moderate muslims" of gender politics.
Lol if it was a joke you would have said so in your first diatribe. You obviously didn't read the article in question and assumed it was women crying. I said you sound like you don't like women in case you weren't aware of how you were coming across. Now you sound like a bitter incel. I actually agreed with some of your points and you still tell me I'm a failure. I'm done with you.
I work around this "plague" everyday with people. (And we're talking known positive cases here, not "I'm a barista and I work with people so I've likely come into contact with someone that may have had it.") If I saw one co-worker start "tearing up" over stress related to this, I would think that not only are they weak and overly fragile, but that they frankly aren't cut out for this job and I would be concerned about the quality of work they do. I honestly think I would bring it up to a head honcho and suggest that they be given a few weeks stay-cation to get their mind in order.
We've seen scarier infectious shit in the hospital I'm at, and we've seen some of it often enough. I'd think the crying co-worker wouldn't be able to remotely handle something to that magnitude and I'd think they'd ultimately be a liability to everyone else.
I shed a tear over this amazing bowel movement the other day... I mean... Getting a little choked up right now typing this out..
Did you name it Brian Stelter?
I believe south park called that a "Bono"

women in the work place
Liberal women. We conservative women are made of stronger stuff.
wake me up when conservative women protest the draft or any of these other anti-male laws out there
complacent

Stelter is creepy AF and has pizza in his closet. Change my mind.
What the hell is that idiot talking about???

Why? Because we've had a flu season with ~50% more overall deaths than past severe flu seasons?
The media is the virus.
They want us all defeated, cowering and weeping in the corner. No one should ever take advice from this wretched fool.
What a fucking beta cuck.
