Back in Hussein's presidency when it was open season on cops, I thought it was a good thing.
Now that they are acting like jackbooted thugs supporting tyrannical mayors and governors, I have to nope out.
The cops are on the wrong side on this one. They need to be refusing orders as unlawful and unconstitutional, instead of going all roid rage on people refusing to wear masks or social distance (referring to the recent vid from NYC).
This is kind of like Prohibition. Everybody knew the law was BS and most cops were dirty, and so respect for the law diminished overall. That's what's happening now--people are seeing the truth about law enforcement; that they will obey their paymasters instead of the Bill of Rights. Cops will lose the respect of law abiding citizens. Like me.
