Assuming what she says is true, I don't think so. Every person (religious, agnostic, atheist, ect) knows there is something terribly wrong with this world and humans are terribly flawed. Her parents have abandoned a natural love for their daughter for a warped, irrational worship of politics. Basically cutting their own children out of their lives because they view them as supporting the worst evils of this world. Soley because they believe something different politically. Her parents are a lost cause.
I agree. Need a deep dive into the story. She mentions being assaulted at 17. IF, big if, it was/is the current guy... then it's no longer a liberal vs conservative thing. As with any story... need 24 hrs to pass for more of the facts to roll in.... because they always do.
