Coronaviruses are common viruses responsible for a significant proportion of colds. A few particularly strong strains arose in the past, including one in 2002 referred to as "SARS coronavirus", which disappeared after a small number of infections. This is a new strain people feared as one of the strong ones. They called it "SARS 2" to reflect this severity. Anyway, we know a lot about antivirals active in fighting this. In fact most antivirals work to varying degrees. There is a lot to study before formally approving a treatment because the side effects may harm people's chances more than the antiviral properties.

The same source assigns this virus a CFR of 10% or so. Mind this number indicates percentage admitted to a hospital and tested who die, not the percentage of exposed who die. The latter is similar to a harsh flu. In fact the annual flu seasons would compute to a similar CFR (~10%) if you only counted hospitalizations, as the lunatics did when they changed the number in your source.

They didn't even prescribe zinc in the study. Hydroxychloroquine is a vehicle to distribute zinc. Without zinc it defeats the entire purpose of using it AND they waited until late in the disease to use it when it was already too late. It's deliberately sabotage and the result was the deaths of people that didn't need to die. They're murdering people to keep even more people dying. They are unbelievably sick.
From what I’ve read, it doesn’t need to have zinc to be effective unless it’s a more progressed case. For prophylactic and early use, it seems to help even without it.

– Doing a “blind study” where instead of comparing to a placebo they use another effective cure (vitamin C). This was a Gates funded study
– Dismissing it because it is not 100% effective. The flu vaccine has an average of about 30-70% effectiveness. Almost nothing has 100% effectiveness.
Used too late and without Zinc for Corona virus. HCQ and zinc can stop the virus from replicating, but it does not repair damage. HCQ without zinc is not very effective.
