I know that's an old saying but it is total bullshit. If you need to kiss someone's ass in order for the relationship to be bearable then something is wrong. Be your own person and don't put women on a pedestal.
I don't usually like to give marital advice, I use a hill to die on rule. Usually I will go along with my wife or she will convince me to go along with her but about 5 to 10% of the time I have to draw a red line. My hill to die on, when I won't back down even if she were to leave me I'd feel great that I stood up for what I believed in. So far I have won all these battles and over time she actually respects me more.
Without knowing your situation this might be the hill to die on. You could also have been doing a funny joke that went right over my head :)
I hear you. We wear them in our business only when a customer comes in wearing one. If a customer comes in without wearing one we don't put one on. Basically we try to keep even with the comfort level of each customer to make them feel good because we just don't give a fuck about masks otherwise.
It is interesting to me that here in rural/small town cucked Ontario almost nobody ever wears a mask (maybe some urban Canadian pedes could tell us what the cities are like). But in the USA which is usually the people who care more about their rights and willing to try and defend them go along with this mask thing.
To be clear, I think Canadians are waaaaay more cucked than Americans but this is one of those outliers where we don't seem to give a shit.
Well here in the USA there's a good 50% of people at least who don't give one flying shit about their rights outside of protests and trannies. I would bet if you went to small town/rural America you would see the same as in your town. It's the blue areas that would willingly give up all their rights.
4: My state requires one to work.
How can a spouse make you do something?
For her......

I've always hated that saying, basically implies you are her slave, not equal... "but muhh patriarchy."
Gotta pick your battles

Shut up and take my money
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Here in Ohio, I wear a mask to work but I don't wear it well.

Hell yeah. I'll wear a mask but I'm going to wear it like thong underwear over my pants.
My job has made it mandatory.
