This was their email from a day ago. What total fear mongering fraudsters. There is no way management would not let their employees bring in their own PPDs.
Hello,
At the nursing home where I work, we don’t have the protective gear we need to keep us and our vulnerable residents safe, so I've actually been smuggling in masks and gloves for my co-workers. I’m wrapping them, rolling them, and tightening them with a rubber band to make it small so management doesn’t see.
No one should be forced to choose between making a living and keeping our families safe from coronavirus.
That’s why as Congress talks about another relief bill, we’re getting ready to fight for what we need. Can you text ESSENTIAL to 787753* so when we need to act urgently, we can text you?
Even though there have been four relief packages so far, we still don’t have the proper protective equipment, essential pay, paid sick leave or support for those who lose their jobs. And that isn’t just healthcare workers. Last week my fellow essential workers at companies like FedEx, Amazon, Target, Walmart and Instacart planned a walkout to protest how we’re being treated. Fast food workers have walked out in cities across the country. It’s not right that they’re profiting while we’re the ones risking everything.
Text ESSENTIAL to 787753* so we can send you messages on urgent ways to help.
Today, the Senate will be back in session to negotiate the next round of coronavirus aid, and we must make sure it helps working people and isn’t just a blank check for corporations.
