We all have strands of coronavirus in our bodies. It’s literally everywhere. Every animal has it. Yet, we are mostly immune because of all the interactions with bacteria & viruses we encounter on a daily basis. Our bodies are miracles in that sense. Breathing into a mask interferes with these interactions, and could therefore exacerbate a respiratory response, triggering an infection. Masks are for acute cases/situations only.

It’s fucking stupid.

I deliver pizza for a living (I quite enjoy it), and For now, masks are as mandatory as our uniforms. I hate it, but hoping it will pass sooner than later. We have a beautiful VA facility in our area that we still service. Before entering the property for a delivery, we have to pass through a screening tent.

“Do you have any shortness of breath?”

My answer is always, “yeah, but only because of this stupid thing [point to mask].”

Lmao what if we got like 1,000 people with masks on to rush every ER saying that they have been experiencing shortness of breath ever since they put on the mask. We can call it operation Bane.
