Faucci is on a save my ass campaign right now. When trump retweeted a tweet that had #firefaucci that was clear sign that trump no longer trusts him. Not sure he trusted faucci to begin with. My guess is that faucci will be a major part in the next impeachment effort.
I think Trump did trust him at first. He did for a while and was following his advice rather closely for a long time. Probably a huge reason it went from 15 days to slow to “stay inside until eradicate”. Even after we saw how much of a snake he was, Trump really really wanted to keep trusting him, but I think he’s run out of patience with Fauxi now.
I recently read a pre-corona-virus book on the human immune system and the book makes Fauci out to be among the heroes of human immunity theory. It would be easy to initially mistake Fauci for being a good guy. I've been continually surprised at just how deep and wide the swamp runs and how I'm having to re-consider almost all that I've ever known in light of how I now know that it's all been a facade designed and perpetrated to steal freedoms from the US populace.
