I just checked the NYP and they have two stories going. One saying it mutated to a stronger strain after leaving China (citing the LA Times story), and another saying it is now potentially weakening. It would make sense that it would begin to weaken. The virus wants to "live" and spread and killing it's hosts is not a good way to do that.
Why they published these two stories on the same day beats me. At least clarify it in the headlines. It's like our media WANTS to confuse people (they do).
Honestly who gives a fuck whether it's mutating or not. I don't. I'm going to live my life as the founders intended. With freedom and liberty and chance of something bad happening. My family and I are going to go the beach, go out for dinner, go to the grocery store, get hair cuts and what ever else we want. I will not teach my kids to cower in fear in the face of adversity or struggle.
