I believe I posted this in that other Donald site so for all the newbys here, this is why.
I don't call myself that because I'm the oldest person here because I'm probably not. I use ElderPede because I believe I've been on this internet thingy longer than most, if not all here. I took my first peek in 1990 when I joined AOL and got a taste. I then found .irc and then .usenet so within one year I discovered the mysteries of the internet. Been on since then and watched the evolution of www. My only regret was that I didn't teach myself to code back then.
Anyway I appreciate all the respect you fine folks show me. It means a lot to me because all I have to offer now is history. I love all of you patriots and await reading your memes every morning. What really amazes me is how many smart brains we have here, and we do! ...KAG!
My first computer had a 1300 baud modem.
My first computer (1975) had toggle switches and binary readouts, and I think it once asked me what a modem was.
That doesn't make me OLD, though; while I admit to being past my expiration date, I'm STILL IN MY 'TWEENS!
