I'm sad to say that you are right on all points.

BTW, repug guvners are just as guilty as dems, even though they are earliest to reopen.

Almost all of our electeds shit on the Constitution ostensibly because of the seasonal flu.

And not one of these tyrants will face consequences for their actions.

I have said it once, and I will say it a thousand times until people get this through their heads.

THE MEDIA. ARE. EVERY. BIT. AS POWERFUL. AS THEY. HAVE ALWAYS. BEEN.

If you account for the tech censorship, yes. They are more powerful than ever.

Not quite...because we are HERE...and there...and everywhere.

Don't need to letter box drop or mass message via a controlled broadsheet newspaper; or one of four heavily censored and vetted broadcast TV channels. And Americans have STILL got their guns. Never been easier for a 'dissident'.

When the media turns on the tap. the hot water flows. They have brigades of idiots who think they "are informed" by watching them.

I'm not sure what is worse, the old days where we were isolated and had to ingest media swill, but we often won on election night, or now having contact with each other and sites like this, but usually losing on election night because the fix is in.

Truth. If you look at history though (also human nature), things have to get really bad for the majority before action is taken. Usually financial catastrophy and mass unemployment is the catalyst... eh hem...

This. What good is your collection if it's not saving you from tyranny?
