The dems had one objective 2 months ago- Get rid of Crazy Bernie. They accomplished that by media and having key candidates literally drop out of their primary right before Super Tuesday.
Once Bernie was out of the way, it was obvious Creepy Joe couldn't string a coherent sentence together, so he couldn't be the nominee either.
The way to fix that problem- don't let any candidate receive the minimum number of delegates to cinch the nomination first round. Then it goes to the backroom powerbrokers to pick whomever they want.
And THAT's why NY cancelled their primary- so Joe could't hit the 1700 or so delegates, giving someone a chance to charm (Cuomo), bully or outright buy (Bloomberg) the nomination.
My money is on Cuomo, hence the boring daily press briefings- he's already campaigning for POTUS or Veep.
It’s fishy. Why not have someone else stay in? The entire thing is rigged; why not keep someone controllable behind the scenes? It didn’t have to be Biden vs. Bernie in the end.
It's simple, they need PA. Biden represented Delaware his entire career but he was born in PA so they think he can carry the state. There aren't any other DNC candidates from battleground states. Mayor Pete is from Indiana of course but they are pretty solidly conservative outside of his city. That and he doesn't poll well in the rest of the non clown world.
The DNC gets 232 electoral votes no matter what. The entire west coast and almost all of the NE is locked up solid blue. PA gives them another 20. Trump absolutely has to win Florida and another couple of battleground states or every other one if he loses Florida.
