I’m don’t understand how people expect the president to know the deep secrets of every deep state career stooge. There are hundreds of them. As far as Trump knows the guy is what everyone claimed he was. The best in his field.

Every person in government power has a long list of people that they have walked over to get to the top with few exceptions. How is he supposed to know who to believe?

Exactly this. It’s completely unrealistic to except POTUS to know and vet every person, especially in an unprecedented time.
