I know if I had a gun pointed at I wouldn’t be thinking clearly. I’d probably think I’d have a better chance disarming the guy than running like Rickon Stark.
There's nothing that said the gun was pointed at him when he was approached. So if it was being held onto, why did he go for it? People carry around guns all the time in Georgia.
