His "no u" lawsuit got thrown out a couple weeks ago. The 6 new felony charges were announced in February. He was supposed to be back in court on March 18th, I'm guessing his lawyers got an extension due to the Wu flu, I'm not sure how the court is handling cases right now. Probably won't see him in court until near the end of the year.

I support her actions 150%, but it sounds a lot like how men are treated when they can't get work, and don't pay their child support.

I would have told the judge to go pound sand. No one owes an apology for wanting to run their business and provide for their family in a FREE COUNTRY. The Government has no rights to tell anyone they need to stay indoors or that they cannot provide for their family.

I think we need to make distinctions when we’re talking about “breaking the law to feed her family.” A colleague of mine made the point that lots of people in jail are there for trying to feed their families. And that’s true. The problem is that crimes listed in penal codes are things that legislators have written after much debate and thought. Additionally those crimes are inherently immoral and harmful to society. An executive order that shuts down a business does not have the same weight. There is no inherent immorality in running ones business nor does it de f facto hem society.

These are the distinctions I make when speaking to my lawyer friends. I am a criminal defense attorney.

Except these judges don't really believe in the rule of law. And impeaching a judge doesn't happen in a month. Dig in for a nice 36 month process while he continues to draw a paycheck, and you lose your house. But at least you played by Marquess of Queensberry rules, right?

His wife and kids, and their friends, should all be made aware of what the judge has done, in a peaceful manner, of course. If that means protesting in his neighborhood, on the sidewalk, with signs and megaphones, discussing how he jailed a woman trying to not only feed her own kid, but trying to help other women feed THEIR kids too.

Why shouldn't his kids have to face their friends?
