This is what I’m trying to make my friends who are accepting of the lockdown see. They take the view that the lockdown “flattened the curve”, and when I ask when the curve is flat enough to open they respond that nobody knows and that we can’t ease the lockdown until we know. People are not seeing that the Democratic Party has no interest in going back to normal. They want a political victory out of this, no matter what it costs the nation. The Democrats must lose massively in November.
"Until it's safe again" really means until Trump is out of the way and the business of selling and making America a vassal state of China resumes.
