Looks like I overstated their public stance to Newsom

Basically, the Health Officer rescinded the local health order from last month, which means that there is no longer a means for local LEO to arrest anyone for reopening or violating the state guidelines.

Just now though, Fuhrer Newsom said that he is sending ABC (the alcohol agency, not the media) out to remove brewery, wine, and liquor licenses from anywhere that is seating people. So the second someone rats a business out, the State will move in, but Kern County doesn't give a single shit.
