For people with a fully functional brain that's operating at capacity cities can be very socially isolating despite a greater number of people.

I can get Gov Cuomo having a high approval right now, he's governor in a crisis, appears to be leading from the front, and hasn't made any major fuck ups yet. But De Blasio? No way he has a 63% approval. He was screwing up in March, at the beginning, urging NYers to go out, virus Chinatown and see movies. He's been spotted several times violating his own quarantine orders, to visit his gym, to jog in a park across town, etc. He's ordered the NYPD to forcibly break up funeral processions. Suggesting he has a 63% approval is laughable.
